Position – Carpenter

Location – Burnaby, BC

Status – Full Time

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Finish and rough carpentry (casing, baseboards, cabinetry, doors, windows, framing, stairs, board ups and etc.)
• Minor drywall repairs to paint-ready stage
• Minor painting (baseboards, trims and etc.)
• Insulation and vapour barrier installation
• Selective demolition as per Project Manager instruction and protects materials / structure for later used
• Knowledge of tools, equipment and materials and installation practices
• Able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Work in a team or individually
• Able to lift heavy items up to 50 lbs
• Work 40 hours per week and overtime when required
• Perform rotation on-call
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driver’s abstract
• Minimum 3 years of experience

Position – Flood Technician

Location – Burnaby, BC

Status – Full Time

REQUIREMENTS:

• Possess a valid B.C. driver’s license with a satisfactory driver Abstract
• Be available to work overtime when necessary
• Be available to perform On Call on a rotating basis.
• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs

• Ability to work alone and with others
• Water Remediation Technician (WRT) Certified
• Minimum 1 year experience in related field
• Carpet cleaning experience would be an asset

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Communicate with Project Managers on up to date status of the work assigned
• Provide prompt and professional service to all customers
• Remove water using truck mounts, portable extractors and sump pumps
• Demolition to non-restorable materials such as drywall, carpet, ceiling and etc.
• Set up necessary drying equipment
• Cleaning and sanitizing of structure per IICRC standards
• Submit accurate completed paperwork daily to Project Managers
• Perform all other duties as assigned
